Today is May 8, 1998
You are a resident, at the Hertel Elmwood Ambulatory site, seeing this
patient for the fourth time. You are the Primary Care Physician for
Elaine
Stuart. As a resident, you are supervised by Dr. Freer.
- This visit occurs 3 months after surgery. Ms. Stuart has been
receiving
adjuvant chemotherapy for about 2 months.
- Discuss with the patient her options for care at this point in time.
- Educate the patient regarding Hospice and how Hospice might eventually
be helpful to her.
- Discuss "Do Not Resuscitate" orders with this patient.
- Write a note that develops your plan for the care of this patient.
